Came back after 2 years and still love this hotel to spend new years eve on... only now 4 stars since 2 years ago the bridge bash new years eve party was free and now cost 150 dollars... OK it would've been open bar but when you have to pay for a 4 hour open air party people with non large budgets are not going to enter... we saw the party from the distance and we were glad not to have payed for it since the growed and atmosfeer seemed boring.. 2 years ago when it was free it was a multi racial party like how you would experience it being in a Bronx club... now it seemed uptight with high class people.. not what I was expecting from the new York new York hotel... it would've been better to keep things the way it was. So inside in the middle of the casino was a free party with the same crazy ass people that were at that free bash party 2 years ago with also good priced drinks (mix drinks 10 bugs for new years is totally cool) we had a blast and it was great.. also we stayed at the hotel 2 nights this time since we had my Vegas loyalty points from the game myvegas and it was cool. Nice rooms all good!! Only no smokers rooms anymore which was a bummer for us smokers but can't have everything aight??!!
