  • This place brings back all sorts of childhood memories... The United Skates of America is a roller skating rink (and roller disco on Sunday nights/summer Wednesday nights) and Laser tag arena that is not to be missed. 7 bucks gets you skates and rink access where you can spend an afternoon or evening just skating along or laughing at friends attempting to do so. (A friend of mine tried to skate for his first time ever at the age of 28... his glorious attempt and the ensuing crash - roller assist cane and all - will soon be immortalised on YouTube) They have decently priced food (3 bucks for a large soda) - stay away from the pizza though... looks like it could move on it's own! And seriously - who doesn't love laser tag?! Frigging awesome.
