I donated my hair through Wigs for Kids and used the WFK website to find a salon for "the chop." I knew I wanted to go somewhere with good reviews since I'd be trusting them to cut off 12 inches of hair that I have been growing for over two years. Bella Capelli definitely seemed like the best spot.
As an ambassador salon, they provide a complimentary haircut when you are donating. I was worried I would get a less than stellar/popular stylist because it was a free cut, but Mary Ann was great. She was chatty (but not too chatty) and calmed my nerves since I was getting so much hair cut off. I don't think it is the perfect haircut, but I think she did a great job given what she had to work with... especially after chopping off most of my hair!
Also, I decided, after staring at my face for an hour, that I wanted to get my eyebrows done. (Why not? When in Rome, right?!) Mary Ann was not available to do it because she had an appointment coming in, but grabbed someone who was available and they fit me in right away.
The salon itself is very nice and I found the staff to all be very polite and helpful. I will definitely go back!
