| - I thought long and hard about what would make this place better and I couldn't find anything, so I gave it 5 stars. Some reviews have discussed how the market isn't up to the "standards" of other markets, and this could be true, but relative to the smaller avenue road location and relative to other grocery store cafes, this place beat everyone of them hands down, so what are you all complaining about?
the place 5/5 has a large, spacious, well-lit cafe with plenty of seating facing yonge street. plenty of parking both inside and free parking outside the store on adjacent streets. it is right on the subway line too! which other whole foods market is on the subway line? tons of place for laptop charging, they have bar stools, and also seating with tables. Lots of cutlery etc
the food 5/5 very fresh tasting food. the portions are great for the "ordered" food and the packaged options are very delicious. you can also get your coffee here of all flavours. in fact they dont charge extra like stupid starbucks for milk options. why do I pay double the milk for lactose free milk at starbucks? what gives, is lactose double the price? not really. well this place it is a flat rate. The consistency is top notch.
price 5/5. I don't remember the last time I found a place where I could eat fresh delicious food for 10$? how about you?
basically on all categories of a grocery store cafe, this place scores consistently at the top. there really is no reason that you should be giving it less than 5 stars. The only excuse you have is if you are reviewing the store it self in which case you can make the point that it is pricey, or maybe that the whole "organic" earth culture is simply too much for you to handle. Although the store itself could use a little more organic products and "5" ranking on the animal treatment score for live products, of which only a few score in the higher categories.
But for the cafe, it is a solid 5 stars.
