I came here for my birthday dinner a while back and I was so satisfied with the meal! First the environment and decor is between rustic and modern and it almost felt like it was between divey and trendy/nice without it feeling disgusting. I think the reason why it felt divey was because of the half oval bar in the middle of the restaurant, where it seemed very "college-y" with people hanging around or draping themselves all over it.
They have an insanely extensive whiskey menu, which basically won me over at that point! My table shared an order of the fried pickles as an appetizer, and I got the Red Snapper. It's a bit on the lighter side, which is what I wanted, with a lot of veggies, and the fish was cooked so well. Next time, I want to try the Pork Chop. The table next to mine had a few people that ordered it and it was huge... huge. It looked really good.
Their seasonal menu also sounded really good and I'm sure it was! We also got 2 desserts, which I believe were also on rotation. One was a pb oreo dirt pot, and the other was a malted chocolate pot de creme... and the pot de creme was to die for. It is definitely one of the best restaurant desserts I've ever had!
