| - If you are craving pie, or any dessert frankly, this is a place you should check out. I have had this bookmarked since I moved to the area 3 months ago and finally got a chance to check it out this past weekend. Not the most exciting interior, could use a coat of exciting paint to cheer the place up! The cases were filled with whole pies, mini pies, cookies, crumbles, cakes, biscotti (the biggest I have ever seen!) and more. We went with a mini pecan pie, mixed berry tart, mini lemon meringue pie and a peanut butter cookie. The cookie was disappointing, hardly any peanut butter flavor. I was really looking forward to that so I wasn't thrilled :( The pies and tarts have pretty thick pastry, thicker that I think it should be, however, it is very flaky and does have nice flavor. I loved the filling in the pecan pie but would pass on the mixed berry next time, too many seeds in that one. My husband got a serving of the cherry cobbler, he said it was terrific, a little tart and a nice and sugary crumble to compliment. They had a 15% military discount.
