I love Apple products, so obviously the one star is not for the products but for the terrible customer service. I was visiting Toronto from Los Angeles and had forgotten the camera attachment for my iPad. So I went to this Apple Store to get one. Now in LA Apple stores are known for their friendly and attentive customer service.
When I walked into the store I saw a number of the Apple customer service people milling about often talking to each other. So I figured this should be quick, I picked up my item and went to a rep to purchase it (for those few of you unfamiliar with an Apple store, any rep can check you out if you have a credit card). So I went up to two reps who were talking amongst themselves and said excuse me I want to buy this and was ignored!! I would have been ok with a I'm sorry we are busy please go to another rep. Nope just ignored, no eye contact, just ignored. I went up to another rep who said she was going on break and then as I watched her just went over to chat with two other reps who were chatting (different from the first pair of reps I approached). Finally the next rep I approached was fine and helpful and checked me out. Ugh, I could not believe this was an Apple store.
In any case. Never again. I think Best Buy might sell Apple accessories if I need something the next time I visit.
