  • Breakout is my third live action escape room activity. I came in with 3 other friends on a Friday night after hearing from a few friends that a new escape room has opened up in Calgary. We purchased the tickets from Costco which saved us about $5 per person!! Yayy to saving money!! We went ahead and did the room called "Final Request". Upon arriving, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff which made the checking in process a breeze. After a quick intro we delved deep into searching every nook and cranny imaginable in that 10x8 foot room. Won't go into too much detail and ruin it, nonetheless the puzzles and riddles inside the room were challenging and required a lot of teamwork. Less than 45 mins later we were out of that room basking in the glory of actually escaping the room (I had major doubts.. =P). Breakout was definitely one of the more challenging ones I've done and incorporated a great story line. Can't wait to do a the second room!! Tip: Work together and make sure you share what you find!!! The room fits 6 people but we only had 4. It made things a LOT harder!!! More people the merrier =)
