The Roasting Company's most endearing thing to me (being that I am a night shifter) is the late hours all week. On several occasions my boyfriend and I have gone late at night when we're finally ready to eat or have had late work meetings and can't grab dinner until 1030. With that being said, every time I have been in it is super chill with a small (and mostly quiet) group of people inside. There are plenty of beer options, we always sit at the bar since it's always late, and have never had any problems with service. The portions are huge for what you pay, you won't leave hungry. The food is good, you're not going for five star here, but it is always cooked properly and hits the mark for its cuisine category. I do love the cornbread, it actually has pieces of corn in it, and I normally am not a fan of cornbread. My partner and I at work even grabbed dinner at 1AM the other day, being we work on an ambulance, they were extremely quick to prepare our food--We were very grateful!! Good spot for a casual late night when you're starving and not looking to be fancy.
