I had my first experience with gel nails here this past week. Yes ladies (and gents?), they do nails here! My manicurist was Lo and she was the awesome girl that you can talk about anything to like in the movies, as opposed to the awkward silence/ language barrier lady that you typically find at other nail salons. Gel nails are pretty grueling because the process takes close to an hour. You can't do anything with your hands because one's getting painted while the other's under a UV light, and then vice versa, so you want somebody who you can talk to.
She had about 12 gel colors to choose from as well as one of the largest walls of nail polish I've seen. She shapes and files, does the gel thing, then gives a nice hand massage. My only wish is that she cut my cuticles, but some people don't like having theirs cut so I can see why that may not be a part of the package. The price for gel is $30 which is $5-$10 cheaper than some other places I've looked into and they last until you can't stand the unsightly nail growth. Overall, I love my orangy-red nails and Lo was outstanding.
