The course is beautiful and the clubhouse equally attractive, although service (by adult workers, not students) tends to be surly. Be aware you should be an above average golfer to play there. It is not "suitable for all levels" as stated on the web site. The course is a learning laboratory for GCU hospitality and management students. I was in a foursome that played 18 holes there on March 2 in FOUR HOURS. Despite this, a student ranger warned us twice to pick up the pace. Clearly, these kids are told to get some experience prodding slow golfers, but just as clearly we were not. The undeserved warnings are the reason for the 3-Star rating. Not super eager to return.
