| - This badminton location first opened last year in April 2014, but somehow it never got known on Yelp! I first found out when they had a free-play opening weekend which I participated in of course (since general drop-ins cost around $6-8, money is still money lol).
Since it opened, I have been to this badminton place multiple times. They have a fairly tidy and clean facility (and still keeping it up). However, its address was a bit hard to find initially, twisted within smaller streets. They also don't have as much parking spots as other badminton centers, so everyone keep this in mind.
The traffic is not too bad, its generally not very packed and you can easily have quick rotations if you are dropping in. Nevertheless, you're still safer to book a court ahead of time especially with a larger group. I think they have around 11 courts total.
Their pricing ranges quite a lot depending on your time. Renting a court can be between $10-16 while drop-ins can range around $4-8. This price is pretty standard compared to other badminton locations as well, so it ain't a rip off.
Court floors are pretty decent and new, so its quite good currently for dashing front and back - doing all your smashes, drops and clears! Their ceiling is high (but not toooo high) so that can provide more high clearing space.
The employees there are also quite nice and friendly. They will let you know which courts are available and such. However, when they first opened, half the workers were clueless haha - I guess that improved through time.
The only problem I had was that there's one court near the vent area on the right, the birdie had a high tendency to be blown or skewed left and right when the weather's windy outside. Plus, that court gets chilly during the winter time. But overall, everything's great :)
