It was difficult to find ice cream in downtown Calgary. I walked up and around 8th Avenue expecting to see ice cream trucks, maybe a DQ but there's nothing around the core that I could find. After a Yelp search I learned about this place. It was a bit of a hike and on surprisingly deserted streets (for 7pm on a beautiful evening) but so worth it. I could see a throng of people from a distance and I quickly learned why this place is such a draw. There are an adequate number of choices but not so many it is overwhelming to choose. I decided to go for a double scoop in a waffle cone ($8) maple pecan and earl grey. Oh boy! Premium taste and texture! The earl grey was the best I've ever tasted. Unfortunately there's not a lot of room to sit (a few benches inside and outside) but I'd stand in their parking lot to enjoy this treat again. Check it out!
