This review is only for the newly opened second floor.
Came back to try the Japanese High tea. Glad we came by around opening time as they were starting to get busy. The service was a little slow. I guess because they were still fairly new. But food and tea took long to come out. Prepare to wait 30 mins if you want to order the souffle pancake. When we went the parfaits and 2 other items were not available which was a bummer. I got the High tea to share. Serving size is small but very filling. Everything looked pretty. But most of the sweets were just sweet on sweet. Needs something else to change the flavour. That roll was really good though. I didnt get the soba noodles but our friends really enjoyed theirs.
I think if they change the flavour profile a little. Like add something tart to the dessert it would cut through all the sweet. I mean one of the things was a little salty but I was not a fan.
Servers were very polite. And place looks nice. But I probably wont be back to the second floor. I still love their parfaits though.
On a side note: the orders were taken together. Took a bit for the food to come out. And when everything came out one of the servers told my friend that it would take 30 minutes for the souffle pancake... But at that point we were already waiting about 20 mins after our order was placed. Efficiency needs to be improved.
