  • Thanks to A Home 4 Spot, we found the sweetest pup to add to our family. We saw them outside of petsmart holding an adoption event, and walked over. We recently lost our sweet senior girl, so we weren't in a hurry to adopt, but agreed that if we found the right pup we would bring him or her home. We saw our dog and were right away drawn to him. We talked to a couple people working the event (Claudia, Christina, and another woman whose name escapes me) and they were so kind to us. They didn't pressure us and shared stories of their own pets, including the ones they have had to say goodbye to. It was a really sweet and meaningful experience for us. After we officially adopted our little guy and were walking around petsmart getting some new swag for our little guy (who we named Charlie!) one of the ladies working the event found us, just to introduce us to his foster parents. They were also really kind people and were so excited to see him go home. :) I see that there are some mixed reviews on this rescue, but our little guy was on the euthanasia list at Animal Foundation because he couldn't pass his behavior test due to anxiety and being fearful of his environment. They were just too full. So AH4S came and rescued him and found him a foster home until he found his forever family. Very simply, they saved his life. He is absolutely thriving now and is a sweet, energetic little boy who doesn't mind his two 18-lb cat brothers. I am so grateful to this rescue and all of the people who were at the event on March 10.
