  • A great place to visit for historians and train/tech buffs. The folks who run it are volunteers and are very friendly. The woodwork and detail on the incline cars is amazing. Incredible views. Plenty of parking at the bottom and some nice small local restaurants up top. Save yourself enough time to check out the museum and self-guided tour of the motor room at the top. BE FOREWARNED--CASH ONLY and EXACT change. No ATM's nearby. A must see.
