  • We decided to come here for my hubs 30th back in April so I am a bit late in writing this review. We got a package that included two massages + water circuit (before and or after our massage). It was one of my best decisions to date on what to do in Montreal! It is so well organized and has a great flow. The outside near the front is where people are able to chat freely, I believe it is a pool / tanning area. The moment you walk in your welcomed by a group of friendly staff and you can immediately see that this place is well taken care of. The main floor only has check in / check out sections with built in wall bins when you check out to dispose your used towels / robes. They also have the typical shop section (in case you've forgotten anything). From there, there are stairs leading upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs are the change rooms. They are well organized, not overly bright and have a ton of room! Once you are done changing into your bathing suits and robes, you can meet (if you have a male significant other) in the middle of the hallway at the back side (which is great!). It allows for no crowded space at the front and a great flow to go right into the spa. It's broken up into 3-4 levels. I cannot remember them by heart now. Some have a GORGEOUS on site restaurant. They have some levels with two different types of Saunas. One is a regular style wooden sauna with large windows so we can sweat it out with a view. The other one (I can't say much because I nearly suffocated to death as I entered it- NOT for me lol). There was something being pumped out of the vents in that room and it had a strong citrus smell..I just couldn't do it. That level also had beeline chairs to relax on and floating wooden hammock chairs that was surrounded by windows. I felt like I was in another country lol. We never felt like it was "over crowded" or that we had to wait" They have enough space and I think everyone was accommodated well. This floor also had a "cold" tub on the inside to shock the body or something, part of the water circuit- and has some logic behind it! It also had a GORGEOUS outdoor hot tub that overlooked that old Montreal area. It was SO, SO beautiful and we had such a wonderful experience here. We then had our massages (which I think I fell asleep- I decided on a relaxation massage). The rooms were decorated in a mellow yet chic way, with palm leaf style wallpaper and wooden accents. Once finished, you then can have water and refreshments in a "relaxing room" that has cool circular windows and unique booths. I Highly recommend coming here and experiencing Bota Bota and the services they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.
