  • I've been taking my rescued dog, Snickers, to Dr. Sam Wolf for almost 6 years now. Dr. Sam lives up to all the wonderful reviews written! So much so, that even though my husband & I have moved 20 minutes away we continue to bring both Snickers, and our Irish Wolfhound mix, Pesado, to see Dr. Sam for all their vet needs. Though 20 minutes is not that far, there are many other vet offices walking distance to our house. We tried one when Pesado was having recurring upset tummy messes and they wanted to run every test in the book and have us purchase tons of expensive medications to put our dog on. Turns out our dog just has an intolerance to chicken based food, and ever since we've switched him to a Lamb base, he gets an upset tummy much less often, and this is normally only because he got into something he shouldn't have. My favorite part of the vet visit is when Dr. Sam lets me listen to the dogs' heartbeat, as well as look in their eyes, ears & noses. Dr. Sam is knowledgeable and really cares about the pets. We will continue making the drive as long as Dr. Sam is in business! His staff has always been friendly and helpful in calming our dogs when they have to undergo the not so fun parts of the check-up :o)
