We stayed at Red Rock for a "stay-cation" to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary... So obviously a trip to the spa was a must!
I got the 45 minute Shirodhara Scalp Experience. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. The first 15 minutes was oil dripping on my forehead running down my hair into a bowl. Then the oil was massaged into my hair and scalp for about 10 minutes. Then there was a weird facial pressure point massage with her finger tips for about 5 minutes. Then some hot towels were used on my face and neck for about 5 minutes which felt great. It was finished with a weak foot massage for about 5 minutes and then it was over. It was almost like a big tease. I tried it only because I've never heard of it before but I won't be getting one again. Bummer.
My husband got the 50 minute Red Rock Signature Massage and absolutely LOVED IT!!! He wished it was longer and definitely wants to come back.
Why the missing 2 stars? We ordered lunch by the quiet pool (which was $15 for a quesadilla and over $20 for a burger) and they said it would be 45 minutes to be delivered. So I left for 20 minutes to go inside into the hot tub and then sauna. When I came back out, my husband said the food came 5 minutes after I left. How can they be so off on the food delivery time? So I got to eat my food cold. Annoying! Then we looked at the bill and they already added 20% gratuity but didn't bother telling us or even highlighting it or circling it, so he had added 20% more to that! I get adding gratuity in Las Vegas, but to not point it out is just rude and a dishonest practice. There were two other girls that were eating a few chairs over and were complaining about the same thing. They should have told us at the time of handing us the bill. Shame on you. Nobody likes feeling taken advantage of, especially when the food is already overpriced to begin with.
