The Cornish Pasty Company has quickly become a favorite of mine, and their location on Alma School and Baseline is a great option for devouring one of their baked gems.
The restaurant has a large interior and exterior seating area, although it can quickly become packed. A full bar is available with lots of English and American drink options including local beers.
Pasties are essentially large and far superior Hot Pockets filled with any number of options. My fellow diners chose the Carne Adovada with a spicy filling. I opted for the Peppered Steak with tender beef combined with Stilton cheese and vegetables in a pepper gravy. The combination was extremely delicious.
We shared a dessert similar to the southern banana pudding which was just OK. Service was slow on an otherwise slow night, but the food was worth it. This is a great option for groups with a wide variety of unique options or anyone wanting something different.
