My husband and I tried Rudy's for dinner last night and as we waited for our food, we watched 3 separate customers return through the door because their to-go orders were missing items or made incorrectly. Now a little apprehensive, the cook called us to the counter to let us know that they were out of refried beans for the side, which wasn't a big deal to us so we took our food as-is. I wasn't impressed with my shredded beef burrito as it seemed to be mostly tortilla, but my husband was enjoying his meat quesadilla... Up until he was stabbed in the gums with a shard of wood. I took the piece of wood to the register and the cashier said it probably chipped off of the tool used to make the salsa. After a moment of awkward silence he asked if I wanted a refund. He refunded the price of the wood-chip quesadilla and we left, slightly worse for having visited.
