I've been coming to bodyheat for 5+ years now and keep my contract because it is reasonably priced and they conveniently have multiple locations on every side of town. Every few months there seems to be some kind of an issue and the corporate offices' answer is to give me a credit for lotion I don't even purchase at the store anyways. I'm very fair and specifically tell the employees that I want to tan for 4-6 minutes tops (usually to open my pores before a spray tan). I can't tell you how many times I've been blatantly ignored and put in the bed for the full time and burnt to a crisp. (I complain, I get a credit that I don't use). Sometimes beds are not cleaned thoroughly. I am allergic to "tingle" lotion and have felt the affects of the previous person lotion from where my skin touches the bed. Disgusting. I've used the versa spray tan machine and the bottom has had barrier cream and water from the previous user and I've had to ask them to clean it. I've showed up during business hours and staff has been MIA. If they are there, they're usually on their phones, sitting, eating or not very friendly. I've worked in customer service and it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to put your phone down and greet your customers. There are a few employees that make me feel welcomed but for the most part, I feel as if I'm an annoyance.
