rev:text	Update: Owner's reply to my review/concern has prompted me to modify the rating, promising to address issues with staff. I'd like to revise this post entirely upon my next visit. This was quickly becoming my go to spot for Vietnamese cuisine, unfortunately my last visit has me frustrated, insulted, and doubtful I'll repatronize. Ordered a Beef Tripes Ph, which came out a little longer than usual, no problem, However after digging around the noodles for a moment I noticed there was no tripe. I called the waitress over and she found a spec of tripe not a 1/8 of an inch long and started arguing with me. She insisted that was the normal amount of tripe they put in their Ph (1. False I've had it many times from them 2. If it were true... Wow) I always try and give allowances for kitchen mistakes, crowds or whatever but this sort of BS, lying straight to a customer's face is infuriating. Technically there was a tripe in the soup but do we really have to argue about the fact they can't admit you ran out, threw in some crumbs and extra noodles, and hoped I wouldn't complain? Now I'm uncomfortable and upset. The waitress went back to the kitchen and returned finally admitted they had run out and offered a replacement protein. This would have been a sufficient solution initially, but trying to swindle me before hand has tranished all my previous impressions of this establishment. I was majorly disappointed in this young lady and refused the replacement protein, finished my BROTH, paid and left. ADVICE don't treat polite, honest, good tipping, return customers like their trying to screw you over pocket change worth of beef intestines, it's sad.
