| - We stayed here for our 27th wedding anniversary and it was a great location. The staff was very friendly, and went out of their way to accomodate us in our stay. The breakfast buffet was great, with a good variety of breakfast selections, and the staff there actually cared about their jobs. So much so that I had to comment to Jennifer, the General Manager that I thought the team she'd put together was particularly good. That says a lot coming from a picky traveler. I have stayed at 5 star, 5 diamond, and Motel 6s. This was a good place for a get away.
The hotel runs a free shuttle to and from The Strip on the odd hours until 11:00 PM daily. The ONLY requirement they ask is that you call and let them know how many are coming back in your party for any shuttle OTHER than the 11:00 PM shuttle. That one they run until everyone is home. Unless it is the 11:00 PM shuttle, call and reserve your place.
On Saturday night, for the 9:15pm shuttle, a family of 9 tried to board and the shuttle was going to be full. They had NOT called to reserve places, (the shuttle drivers are very clear in advance about this), and they were asked to get off so those that HAD called for reservations could board.
This hispanic family immediatly began to claim racism, and made a huge stink. It was very sad for the driver, the hotel, and embarrassing to watch them play this kind of card to intimidate the driver into letting them break the rules.
I post this here so if this family posts negative reviews (doubtful, but I don[t make my life revolve around Yelp to check), I wanted folks to kjnow they hotel plays by the rules and delivers great service.
Only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me is there is always room for improvement!
