Been in Vegas for almost two decades and used to drive by Wayne Newton's house every day on my way to work. I always wondered what it was like behind those gates and all those trees. It's so cool that he opened up his home for tours and it really was a FAB tour. I was super impressed by the wide open land, the roaming peacocks, the mansion itself and the awesome staff. The day was a perfect day and I think Springtime is the best time to see this place. It took us maybe 3 hours (? not sure, lost track of time was having so much fun). We did the full tour except the horses tour. I'd like to go back for that! Wayne and his wife were on the property by the stables as we passed by in the shuttle on our way to the mansion (his former house). We also saw his monkey which made us laugh so hard with his cute personality. We went on board his former plane and saw tons of his old memorabilia, etc. The staff was really hospitable. There were 3 different staff we met. One was an older gentleman at the end of the tour named "John", another nice blonde lady named Kim and then an older shuttle bus driver who was also super sweet but can't remember her name (maybe DeeDee or Denise?). This is a unique tour to do and I'd definitely recommend it if you love Vegas history, like Wayne Newton or just something to kill some time & bring friends or family to spend the afternoon at.
