  • Signed up for a year membership just the other day after purchasing my first ever handgun! It was so nice to finally go out and get some info on how to use it and the safety procedures that should always be practiced when dealing with any firearm. Upon entry into the clubhouse, I was very kindly greeted and welcomed to the facility. As a chick, you can sometimes feel unwanted at places that are more traditionally male. However, the Pro Gun Club loves the ladies!! They're very kind and happy to have visitors. After watching the safety video and filling out the necessary paperwork, I was invited to head down to the range. The gentleman who helped me at the range was WONDERFUL!!! He showed me everything I needed to know and was very patient with my slow and cautious beginning. He was very through in all of his instructions and helped me several times when my brand new gun had loading issues. I am totally stoked that I have use of this facility for the next year! I hope to return as often as possible . . . and next time, I certainly plan to have a drink in its beautiful full bar!
