| - I am a frequent shopper at gymboree, the outlet, full price, it doesn't matter. I like shopping here because of all the accessories that match the clothes. Yesterday, april 12 2017 I had the worse experience because of this cashier/sales lady named JACQUELINE. She was the only one at that time and there were no other customers in the store when me and my son walked in. Store was dead, zero customers. She was behind the checkout counter folding clothes. I came in, no greetings, no eye contact. I passed by in front of the cashier and looked at her and she didn't acknowledge me. I was literally walking in front of her where she can see me and no greeting was made. I went to the very back of the store to look at the brown sandals that they had. 5 mins or so and still no acknowledgement, she didn't even ask me if I needed help. So i got pissed and decided to walk awAy instead of me saying something to her. Just before i walked out of the store, another girl, blonde , walked in with her kids and the JACQUELINE girl immediately says hi or hello welcome to gymboree. I hate to think that this is happening and I am not always thinking that because I am colored I get treated differently, but this was such an obvious case. Nobody was at the store. It's impossible she didn't notice me???? I walked in front of her she didn't see me???? Wow. So after a few minutes of walking out i went back inside the store to see if maybe she will greet me. And guess what, another ZERO greeting. She was about to ring up the white chick and she says hello. No eye contact to me so i assume this was a greeting to the lady that was about to pay for her stuff??? I walk there again and did not get asked if i need help. So i bought a few
Things. She rang me up,no eye contact at all. She have me the gym bucks and explained to me when i can use it. Gave my receipt and all. I asked her if the name on the receipt which says JACQUELINE is her name and she said yes. I asked because I know who to complain about when I talk to corporate. This is not how you treat customers. If you hate what you're doing then go back to school and find something else to do. This review is for the gymboree at townsquare.
