Having been to several Forever XXI stores around the US, I have to say that this location is an awesome one. It's big, spacious, well organized and has a huge selection of stock. It is infinitely better organized than the Yonge & Dundas store in downtown Toronto. It's about double the size of the Fairview Mall location.
It's is a very big space, and they use it well to showcase the different lines that XXI makes like Twelve by Twelve (my favourite) and Heritage. There are tons of fitting rooms so you're never waiting too long to try things on - I wish they would put a stool or something inside their fitting rooms for me to sit down on when I try pants on. The store is very neat and tidy - even on a busy Sunday afternoon - because there are lots of staff constantly replacing merchandise, folding clothes and straightening out the hangers.
The accessories section felt a bit small - considering how huge this store was. A few things that I've seen at other locations weren't here. The cash register counter is in the middle of the store and they don't have a very good queuing system - people just clump and there were about 4 "lines" forming in front of the desk.
I'll be honest - I don't own many clothes from here other than a few graphic t-shirts and dresses. Their sizing is usually way too small for me, which is a shame since I consider myself average sized - I'm just not a rail thin 14 year old. I love their dresses and skirts but they just don't work on me. I've looked at the Faith line (plus size) but why is it that all plus size clothes look like draped tunics and muumuu's? It's not flattering to ANY body shape.
I don't come to Vaughn Mills very often since it's very out of the way for me - but I always stop in here each time just to have a look around.
The exchange policy here is strict since their items has such a fast turnover and are inexpensive - no returns, exchange or store credit ONLY, with receipt, within 21 days.
