We have been using Firestone for 5 years, so naturally it is our go to place when we have any kind of car issue. My husband scheduled an appointment get a few things checked out on his car, disclosing the year, mileage, etc. when making the appointment over the phone. We dropped off the car with no problems. About 5 minutes after dropping the car off, we get a phone call saying they are unable to work on it due to "liability". My husband asked why they even let him book an appointment if it was a liability issue. The employee responded that he was "new" and didn't know.
Yes, that is annoying...however, we already found someone who is willing to do the work.
On the way to pick up the car this afternoon, my husband and I were switching drivers when a Firestone employee was getting into a car that we were pulled up behind. As I was getting into the drivers side of the car and putting on my seat belt, the employee honks the horn at me and opens his driver side door to yell at me to move. I have never experienced anything that rude or disrespectful towards a customer. Needless to say, we will not be visiting Firestone on Park Road again.
