  • Disaster. Nightmare. Horror show. These words do not even come close to adequately describing my experience with Southern Fidelity Mortgage. It doesn't matter if they come to you tomorrow and offer you a 0.0001% interest rate for the entire life of the loan---use literally anyone else and you'll be better off. The entire process took months longer than it should have. Yes, months. I was bounced around from person to person as employees either quit or were fired. Forms filled out on my behalf were incorrect and/or incomplete. I had to re-upload documents on multiple occasions because they somehow went missing. This was one of the worst experiences I've had with any company, ever. The fact that this is a financial services company that deals with one of the biggest transactions most people will ever make is absolutely shocking. Run away from Southern Fidelity and then stay far, far away.
