  • This place over charges for everything, like medications and treatments. Every medication that they ever prescribed, were over price by 600% or more. I was a member paying $34 a month and they still overcharge me. There is no one you can go to complaint, when you call Banfield they won't do anything for you. I asked to prescribe Lactulose Solution 473 ML bottle and they wanted to charge me $31.84 but at my local Smith Pharmacy $10.00 not kidding look it up. Also Optimmune® Ophthalmic Ointment tube 3.5g $66.15 but at KV Supply $29.49 so really Banfield where is my savings but the kick to this they are give me 15% discount to the well overprice medication by over 400%. So Banfield help me understand where are my savings, I paid yearly $419.4 for the Optimum Wellness Plan plus $189.00 dental plus all the overprice medications this is for 2 visit yearly check up. I have a 3 pound dog and Banfield had the nerve to charged me $18.00 to have someone hold it down, why kind of vet can't handle a 3 pound dog. Their vets had very little experience, one vet told me he was quitting because of the stress they put on him to charge for items your pet really don't need, that he need it to bring more money or get poor performance or even fire for not performing. I didn't renew my dog plan, I'm going now to a local vet and their service is 500% better than what I got from Banfield, medication and service is not overprice. I don't have a dog plan and I don't need it because they don't overcharge you for services or medication. Banfield over inflated the service and medication to offer you a discounts for their over inflated prices. This year looking at the same treatments and medications I had saved over $378 so far and the year is not over yet. Stay away from this place and just go to a local vet, they are more personal with your pets than the big company, they really will get to know pets better and you will be more happy with the outcome. I was a customer of Banfield for over 9 years but I stopped the abuse, no more overprice medication and treatments. I hope that I can open someone eyes before is too late, good luck to your pets. Just look at their reviews, if they care, they will do something about it and this is not one customer only.
