| - I have no idea where all the great reviews are coming.
It seems that the management is trying desperately to cut corners and thinking that nobody is going to notice. We came in late on Sunday night. The clerk gave us our room keys but no information (wifi password, breakfast hours, etc.) I did ask about the wifi password but the clerk was confused. I didn't ask about the breakfast hours but maybe I should have because the next worning, at 9:00, we had already missed breakfast. Fitness center was supposed to be open at 7:00, but at 7:40 it was still closed. The next day (today) the fitness center was open but both treadmills were out of order. Anyway we went out for the day (and definitely DID NOT leave the "do not disturb" sign on the door, and returned in the evening to see our bed unmade and towels still on the bathroom floor. Husband and I went down to the front desk and the cluless clerk just said he couldn't help us "but I guess I can give you some clean towels". Gee, thanks, how very generous of you!
The DIY washer/dryer on our floor was broken when we came and it doesn't look like they're making any effort to get it fixed.
I don't know, maybe this used to be a good hotel, but our experience was just awful, even though we're used to staying in budget conscious lodging.
