| - DO! NOT! MOVE! HERE!!!
I have finally moved out and the place has gotten even worse in the couple months. As far as I know they STILL haven't gotten the parcel lockers activated with the Post Office, so if you have anything larger than an envelope sent to you enjoy your drive to the Post Office to pick it up since they have no place to deliver it. The management left a notice on our door that they would be doing a walkthrough to check all our appliances the time frame they gave was between a Wednesday and a Friday between 9-5. This is an absurd window for just checking appliances. I called to see if I could get it narrowed down and asked if they were going in building order or what. I was told that they had NO order they would go in and when I sarcastically asked "So you're just going to walk outside and randomly pick a building and start going?" The reply I got was that yes, that is indeed what they were planning to do. The apartments are FULL of black mold and when you point any of it out their maintenance guys will just say that it's tape, glue, or rubber and simply paint over it. This place is a health hazard and I won't be surprised if somebody eventually gets horribly sick due to inhaling all that stuff. They say they have a pet policy, that's a lie. You'll see barely controlled pitbulls on any walk that snap and snarl at other dogs and people. I hope you enjoy the sound of gunshots because you'll hear a handful monthly, also you'll get to wake up to the sound of hovering police helicopters now and then. That's not entirely their fault, but it is just more BS you'll have to deal with on top of their piss poor management. Oh, and the last big issue recently aside from the mold and inability to fix anything. The water, enjoy your bills because this place wastes it like no other. The sprinklers in front of my unit ran one morning for over 2 hours, they ran long enough that they flooded the area and the sprinklers toward the bottom of a hill were actually underwater still shooting. I found a maintenance guy and informed him of the issue to which he replied "Only the groundskeepers can turn those off" so they sat there with me and just watched the section of the apartment I lived in flood. If you are thinking of moving to this place PLEASE read all these reviews and trust me when I say IF you move in here you will regret it and be counting down the days until the end of your lease. Hell, if you're there you can just ask tenants and all of them will tell you how bad management is. I could go on for days and right a small novel on how bad this place is.
ALSO:
I moved from a place that you gave 30 day notice for moving out, at this hellhole they require 60 day, I don't know if that's common for Vegas but I figured I would let people know just in case. We were forced to stay one additional month so that we gave the full 60 day and let me tell you, that one month rent is a killer. They give you this ridiculously high rate and then tac on an additional $100 fee since you're paying a "month-to-month" rent, even though I was being strong armed into it in my mind since I feel 30 days is adequate notice.
