  • Went to dinner on 11/14/08 with friends from out of town. They are retired military like me and we have spent a lot of time in Germany. I have eaten there in the past and the food was great. This time the food tasted as if it was left over from the day before. the service was very poor. the lone waitress was clearly unprepared for a party of 4 even after I made reservations. It took 30 minutes to get a beer and 2 more place settings. The food was "cooked" by someone who clearly was not of German decent who also served as the bus boy. I will not be returning to Cage Heidelburg anytime soon. I do not want to be embarrased again!
