Dare I say the best happy hour in Scottsdale? I've been several times and it never disappoints- the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail the chefs put into the dishes is very apparent.
As an added bonus, they have happy hour everyday all day during the summer and on Thursdays they have $1.50 oysters. They are served with the most incredible horseradish that we may have put on a variety of our other dishes as well....
Their house wines are only $5 during happy hour and taste great- the white paired perfectly with the oysters.
Although the oysters were small, they were flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. Even when we placed a second order for only 4 more oysters (because we couldn't stop after one round), the presentation was the same as if we had ordered another dozen.
The shishito peppers were good and in the past the brussel sprouts have been incredible but we did not order them this most recent time. (on a side note the size of the portions has seemed to get larger over the years- which I'm not complaining about.)
The hamachi serrano chili roll is always a go to for us.
This time we tried the softshell crab sandwich which was delicious (especially when paired with the aforementioned horseradish).
The burger has been great in the past and for $3 it's a delicious and cheap way to fill up.
The scallop ceviche taco was also delicious.
It's hard to go wrong with anything but it'll add up if you're not careful. You can stick to the happy hour menu and get more than a full meal of food and drinks but it'll cost you about the same as many other sit-down restaurants (but with this food being much tastier). The service is a bit slow when sitting in the bar/lounge area but that's to be expected because it's always packed with people who know it's worth it.
