Sad to report that in the last 2 years things have gone downhill for my fave regal hole-in-the-wall. I suspect that the palace is pinching pennies because not only is the tea no longer a strong, hot jasmine (it's now usually vaguely tea-flavoured water), but the dumpling skins have gotten so thick that I'm pretty sure I had a wonton that was 100% wrapper yesterday.
I'll probably commit treason and scope out a new regular dumpling place in the neighbourhood next time.
