I have brought my son here a handful of times for a haircut, I have never been super impressed or disappointed with the cuts but for the price and convenient location, I return. My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the cuts but everything to do with their customer service. I will not be back after my last visit.
My son is five. They have made it very clear every time we come in that none of the stylists want to cut a child's hair, although my son has never been anything but easy for them. They seem to avoid it at all costs. However, this last visit was the most blatant.There were three stylists working. I checked my son in online. He was first on the list when we came in. The stylist who helped me then checked in a walk-in. Another stylist told the first available stylist that she needed to cut my son's hair first. The stylist who was told this said she would do the walk-in's haircut first because he requested her. The other two stylists finished the cuts they were working on as I checked in about the same time. One was cleaning up her station while the other, before cleaning her station, raced up to take the online check-in who came in after us. Unfortunately, apparently, for the third stylist she was stuck with my son.
I understand a child's haircut can be difficult but, as previously mentioned, my son has always been well behaved and on top of that I tip well knowing this!
I will drive out of my way to go to Great Clips rather than return to this salon with bad customer service time and time again.
