  • We RE-HIRED Home Pride Inspections to complete the final walk through inspection before closing (which is the next day). And they did a phenomenal job! It's not required to re-hire the inspector, but we felt more comfortable if they came back to look at the long list of repairs that was required to be fixed by the seller. And the other reason, was because we had to work that day. Please note: Instead of getting our agent's recommended inspector, we hired Home Pride Inspection instead. This way, there is no "conflict of interest". So, hiring Home Pride Inspection was the best move for us. Initially, there was some scheduling conflict this morning and my husband waited for a long time. But, luckily, a different inspector came (and not the one we requested). But overall, it was still good. The owner of Home Pride Inspections (Will) found out what happened, and called to apologize. He was very understanding and reasonable. The owner makes certain the customer is treated properly. That's truly how business should be. I'm sure this company will last long, because the owner just know what customer service is! It's more amazing that Will (the owner) knows what's going on with each customer if there are any issues. That's a major A+++. Rarely, this occurs. So, I'm highly impressed! PROS: - Inspector was able to run through our initial list of repairs from the first inspection and confirm if things were properly fixed - Luckily, inspector found a couple of items that were still not fixed! - I showed my agent the list of repairs that still needs to be fixed and he was able to get a contractor to fix everything on the same day. Our goal, was to make the seller fix everything before we closed! That way, we can just move right in! - This all occurred the day before our closing. - Great customer service. - Stacey is very good at trying to schedule an inspector for you and tries to accommodate your needs. I like working with this company because you actually get a person all the time, when you call. If you leave a message, Stacey will call back quick. This was very convenient for us, especially when we needed to get things done in a timely manner. Unlike, other companies, you would get a answering service, which I dislike. - A little pricey compared to other companies I called, but they do a excellent job. Worth the money spent because at the end, you save on repairs. We saved a lot on repairs! - If you're buying from out of state, I would definitely use this company to help you inspect the place if you are not available to be there for final walk through or first inspection. Overall, re-hiring HomePride Inspection for the final walk through was WORTH it! We were able to save a lot of money from repairs, which would have cost us a lot! Best decision made. Highly recommend this company to my family and friends.
