K.I.S.S. is serving Chicago-style pizzas with traditional Italian beef in a little back door restaurant, named by the simple ingredients Chef Anthony Crocenzi will use, who also is in charge of catering for The Venue.
Chef created the menu based on the tastes of his native Chicago and said that in spite of having spent the past nine years in Arizona, he has yet to find a place that serves authentic, Chicago-style beef.
The restaurant cooks the beef in water that has been processed to replicate Chi Town water. Crocenzi said this will add to the authenticity of the food. Chicago and New York styles of pizza are offered up as whole pies or by the slice. $4&5 a slice. They are excellent. I tried a cheese and a veggie.
Also on K.I.S.S.'s menu are Italian beef, Italian sausage, and New York Italian grinder sandwiches, Chicago dogs, and antipasto salads.
The last Authentic Chicago pizza I ate was 3 in the morning in Chicago at a Mcdonalds..Da Bears.
