The atmosphere is amazing, we love going to listen to live music or just sit outside and relax. It really is a great escape which is close to our home. This is where my wine snob kicks in. I believe they have their muscadine down fairly well....however, I grew up on Long Islands east end wine tasting practically my entire life and something here is a smidgen off. A little nail polish remover ish in some of their wines. IT IS NOT ONLY THIS VINEYARD. I have detected this in all of the vineyards I have been to here. Rocky River, Dennis, Hilton, just to name a few. I believe it is ethyl acetate which can be caused by too much oxygen exposure, stressed yeast, and/ or bacterial infection. This can be remedied by simply experimenting with different yeasts as some yeasts are better for different types of wines. It's not an uncommon thing, although it may be unpleasant. With all of that said it wouldn't stop us from enjoying the vineyard, we love it there and can't wait to relax in great weather again
