  • This is an expensive restaurant, but I highly recommend to go if you are visiting and/or you are a meat lover. We went for dinner in a Friday night, we booked 3 hours before so I cannot complain about that. We didn't have the best table, but the ambiance inside is very good wherever you are sitting. The restaurant is very cozy and warm and you really feel like back in the days when you are inside. About the food... I'm a steak lover, so when we arrived and saw the menu I was pleased to see that many options. The rib steak "gibby's cut" is amazing! I loved it and it was perfectly cooked. The portion was huge and the sides complements were also well served. We ordered creme brûlée for dessert and it was also not disappointing at all. The menu appetizers looks good as well, but if you are having a steak do not order anything extra or you will not finish everything. Service was not the best, but in a Friday night there're not too many restaurants that can offer excellent service; it was not bad at all, but for the price you're paying, of course you expect an excellent service. This is my best recommendation for a steakhouse in Montreal so far, I will definitely come back!
