  • Beware! They are under construction 4/2014. Fire alarm going off in your room while you're trying to nap on vacation? Not pleased. The villas themselves were large, spacious, and clean. This definitely is 110% a family resort as everything is tailored towards family-the large rooms with pullout couches, full kitchens, loud pool with kiddie areas and a waterfall, and the only food option being a fast food poolside bar. There are kid activities throughout the day like pottery and crafts. Definitely not what I would think of as typical category 5 SPG as the service was seriously lacking. We had housekeeping not bring us any shampoo for 8+ hours so we just went out and bought some. Not a big deal but not what I would expect from a well rated starwoods. Unfortunately will not be returning AND it's making me lose faith in starwoods! :(
