| - I really loved the purchasing process at Beepi. I was browsing vehicles online and I contacted several dealerships. I knew I needed a vehicle, I needed it to be reliable and not wonder if I would have it out for repairs all the time. I also really dreaded going to a dealership and having to deal with being demeaned by a bunch of jerk salespeople.
All the research I needed to do was there at my fingertips. I'm the type of person who will go online, research stats on the vehicles, research the companies. Beepi puts it all out there in front of you. Any flaws in the vehicle are listed including an Autocheck report!
Beepi is a new way of doing business, so I did have a few challenges. But I don't think it should take away from the company who has provided excellent customer service all things considered. To be fair, I think Beepi had only been doing business in Arizona for a month at that point.
I attempted to obtain my financing through my credit union who had never heard of the company before. Beepi has had multiple reviews by national publications and multiple 5-star Yelp reviews. The way that Beepi bought cars made my credit union think that Beepi was a broker rather than a dealer. In truth though, Beepi has a dealer license in Arizona and once I was able to bring all this information to an experienced loan officer, I was rapidly approved.
I only bring this up because I think it's important to know what you might expect when doing business and that the newness of the company can be an issue when dealing with your financing, but make sure that your financing company has all its facts straight.
I did have to provide a holding fee for the vehicle (which is deducted from the final price), but I didn't have to submit final payment until the vehicle had been delivered and I had determined that I would accept it. I should mention that my delivery person was exceptional, and I 'm sorry that I waited so long to do this review, since I have forgotten his name. But he was super patient through the process of me checking out the car before buying.
You see this is the one reason more than any other that Beepi is a breakthrough in car buying. I am not an auto person. I print out used car check lists and take them with me when determining whether a car is worth buying. A lot of people get nervous when I do this. They think I'm going to try to lowball them.
This is where my Beepi guy was awesome. He holds the check sheet and begins reading off everything to check for. He turns on the headlights so I know they're working and taps the brakes so I can check them from the outside of the car. He even helps me to figure out to do the performance tests in driving -- all of it!
Afterwards, even though I knew that I was going to have a mechanic look it over since I had a 10-day return policy, I wasn't really worried I was going to use it. This is what used car-buying should be: peace of mind. And I definitely, wholeheartedly recommend this company to everyone, but especially women, the kind who are smart, diligent, and so not mechanical. Those who are willing to be responsible and don't want to have to worry about a sleazeball on the other side of the table.
I mean it's the current culture of car dealerships that was the reason my credit union had reservations, because in the car-buying world, Beepi seems like it's too good to be true. No one offers under blue book and hopes to make money they think. Buying cars directly online considering the nature of most salespeople seems like a huge risk, right? Not in Beepi's case.
Beepi is giving the kind of service and respectability that we expect from the merchants of other commodities except automobiles. I'd buy another car from them if I could. In the future if I need to again, I'm calling them first, because, yeah -- I'm just that impressed. :)
