  • To reiterate what was said by another reviewer: You know the DMV sloths in Zootopia? Come to Avis to see them in real life. Renting a car during Final Four weekend I expected a wait, but I also expected them to be slightly prepared. Three staff working (if you can call it that) with a line of at least 20 people. And every single person takes at least 20-30 minutes. What the heck are they doing? Etching the contracts into stone? And not one employee seems to be capable of doing the entire process themselves, so half the time there's really only 2 people working. And somehow there are no lines at any of the other car rental places here. Either they're out of cars, or they are a much better choice. Then when you get up to the desk, they try to upsell the crap out of you. "I can get you a screaming deal on a mustang." He would not take no for an answer, and then try to make you think you have to buy their insurance. One of the girls working was taking forever because she was just chatting away. Then the other girl who was working with someone else even just came over and started talking (while still working with another customer). Her customer went up at least 10-15 minutes before us and were still up there after we left. A woman came up and complained and the guy just laughed at her, said "we're working as fast as we can," and then told us the line was nothing. I feel bad for people in the line that was something! "That's why you get Preferred," he said. Gag. Well, I guess that's true. If you have to rent a car here, be a preferred member and you can bypass these people altogether and go right to your car.
