My father had cataract surgery to monovision (one eye for distance and the other for reading), they even offered free corrections on his eyes for a cost of about 6k. Every time I ask to have the corrective surgery I am blatantly ignored and 3 pairs of unsuccessful glasses later. The previous 2 being the wrong script (admitted by them). I am totally frustrated with this company. I've taken him to see different Dr's a total of 7 or more times and they say the double vision on the glasses may just be something my father will have to wear the glasses and get used to. When he tells me after 10 minutes of wearing the last pair of glasses that he has a very bad headache I feel that this is unacceptable. I will call the original surgeon and voice my complaints and will post my follow ups here. After the left eye was done he bragged he could see leaves on trees and feathers on birds in great detail, after the right eye was done his distance vision on his left eye diminished and they deny this through "testing". If these glasses are meant to correct each corresponding eye, why is he seeing double objects and getting bad headaches after 10 minutes, how can they let him drive a car like this? I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We have experienced long and short wait times, but the staff is very nice. There ARE eye Dr's out there that offer better options than this place where my father would not ever need glasses again. I recommend doing research on your surgeon which I thought I did before taking him here, but I was wrong. Even their standard lasik is overpriced, go to the $295 per eye place and haggle the price! I went to a cookie cutter place myself and have had no need for glasses after 11 years. Why would you not go to a place that does 100's of these a month, they absolutely do a better job. Never go for the new procedures they will mess up your vision (seen it happen on follow up day, while sharing stories) Sorry for the long rant, but this just had to be shared.
