I was a guest in the restaurants hotel and wanted to treat myself to a quality meal. I was not disappointed! I ordered the halibut by a suggestion from Stacy. She then suggested a wine pairing that I would not have even considered! I'm glad I followed her advice because it accompanied the meal perfectly. I decided to add the carrot and ginger soup as an appetizer. I enjoyed it but wish the portion was a little larger. For desert the pear cake was a little disappointing. It was a little dry and the caramelized pears a bit off tasting. All in all a pleasant dining experience I enjoyed the meal and even got a scallops recipe from Stacy.
