I've been wanting to try Nova's for a few months and was excited to have get a Saturday morning coffee date there. This was the type of place that I really wanted to love, their emphasis on organic, no preservatives, and a really old-world feel are so appealing to me. As soon as we walked in I suspected a let-down; for having such an emphasis on bread, I was expecting to open the door and have the wafting smell of freshly baked bread float through my sense, but no such luck. The pastry case looked great, so I ordered a muffin and a latte. The muffin was dry and didn't taste any better than one you could pick up at a local grocery store. The homemade love was just not there. :-/ My latte was weak and the milk not quite steamed enough. So another disappointment. I doubt I would be willing to try again.
