First let me start by saying I only gave this place a 1 star review because I had to choose a star. They have their service hours available to you online, with no time indicating their last call for a haircut. My husband took our boys here on Tuesday 08/09/2016 and walked in at exactly 5:30 pm. He asked the Lady Bianey where he needed to sign in at for the boys to get a haircut. She advised my husband that they were closed and that he should probably take the boys to where he goes and gets his haircut. My husband was shocked by the comment she made but knowing that the kids started school the next day, he reiterated how their hours posted was until 6:00 pm and that they were present a full half hour before closing. She then stated that they could stick around and maybe they would be able to give the boys haircuts. They were able to get our oldest in the chair within 10 minutes, by then I showed up to the barber shop. I witnessed the barber who was cutting our oldest boys hair finishing up the haircut and when he was done, he started cleaning up and telling the other barber he was gonna head out. The woman, Bianey, became available and I asked her if she was the only one that was able to cut our youngest hair she then replied yes. I then respectfully declined and asked her to charge me for the haircut our oldest received. I asked the gentleman and Bianey what was the protocol for their last call. They both started saying how busy a day it had been and that it depends on the day and at what time the client comes in. I then asked what about if your client comes in 30 minutes until close. She then pointed out her own sign that says they can refuse service if it is 10 minutes until close. I then said to her then why would you tell a client who came in at 5:30pm that you are closing and to top it off why say such a rude comment. The barber then said he wasn't the one who made the comment and I acknowledged him saying no but she did and this is just my advice but you don't treat customers that way especially if they are the reason why you are in business. She then replied with "Well you don't have to come here". I told her she was right but that I would make sure I would spread the word of how she runs her business especially in such a small community. My advice to you who is reading this, do not take your business to this ladies barbershop. If you can treat someone with such disrespect knowing they are trusting you with some type of service then you shouldn't be in business. I understand the importance in hours of operation and business practices but if you treat your clients right they will then keep coming back to you. Unfortunately this business does not share the same beliefs...
