A cute and cozy breakfast cafe in the Arts District of Scottsdale serving breakfast and lunch.
I really wanted to like this place -it's really cute and on a nice day it would be a great place to sit and chat and enjoy the many shaded outdoor spots.
Maybe it was the rainy morning but our experience was a bit underwhelming. We arrived at 8, just as they opened and were greeted and given our choice of tables as we were the days first customers.
TIP: essential to have a reservation here (which we did) as it got busier and busier and they turned lots of walk-ins away.
Saying service is leisurely is the most generous way I can describe our experience. Even though we were the first customers, our server didn't drop by for 5-10 minutes with greetings and water. Further, once we ordered, it was over 45 minute wait for the food-breakfast food-French toast and an egg sandwich. So surprising since typically breakfast fare is the fastest and easiest to prepare.
Maybe they were short of staff or maybe it was just the rain. 4 star food with 2 star service and as I always say, good food is a given; service is what really sets a place apart.
Reluctantly, not recommended.
