This is kind of a strange place. I liked it but it definitely has some unsavory quirks. The first thing you will notice is that they have forced valet parking. HATE THIS. You trust some idiot with your car and everything in it and then have to tip him/her for doing something that you could easily do yourself? Lame. Second: You access this basement level bar down a flight of stairs which is lined with stones. It looks really cool! The actual bar has a great look as well. Then you pull out your phone to text your friends to meet you there and the other shoe drops: NO CELL/DATA SERVICE. You are in a basement! The bar has wifi but they are not exactly advertising the password around. Maybe one of the bartenders will give it to you if you ask. I didn't try.
The menu is definitely pricey for the food that you get. I had the pappardelle pasta dish, my wife had the Mako, and we shared the mushroom caps for an appetizer. All the food tasted good but the mushrooms were COLD! They also tasted like all they were seasoned with was Sprouts brand Italian dressing. Which is fine. But nothing special. And they should certainly not have been cold.
Expect to spend more than you should for food of this quality. Cool atmosphere though. And you will never ever see wider bar stools in your life. They could fit even the mightiest caboose upon them.
